Cleaning & caring for your glasses
Most scratched lenses and bent frames come from a handful of everyday habits — all easy to fix.
Cleaning, the right way
Rinse with water first to remove grit, then use a lens-safe cleaner or mild soap and your microfibre cloth. Never wipe dry lenses with your shirt — that's how most fine scratches happen.
Storage
Always close the arms before putting glasses down, lenses up, or back in the case. Leaving them lens-down on a table is the single most common source of scratches we see at the store.
Fit
If your glasses slide down your nose or feel loose, don't force-bend them yourself — bring them in. We adjust frames for free, for life, regardless of where you bought them.
A well-cared-for pair of glasses should comfortably last 2–3 years before the frame itself needs replacing.
