How to choose frames for your face shape
Round, square, oval or heart-shaped — the right frame doesn't fight your face shape, it balances it. Here's the short version, without the guesswork.
Round faces
Angular frames — rectangle or square — add definition that a round face doesn't have on its own. Avoid round or very small frames; they emphasise the roundness.
Square faces
Soften strong jawlines with round or oval frames, or a cat-eye shape. Sharp rectangular frames tend to double up on the angles you already have.
Oval faces
The easiest shape to fit — most frame shapes work. Use it as a chance to pick what you actually like, not what you're told to wear.
Heart-shaped faces
A wider forehead and narrower chin pair well with frames that are wider at the bottom, like aviators, or light, rimless styles that don't add width up top.
